A large, very clean and warm pod. Excellent value for money, just remember to bring your own bedding and cooking utensils, otherwise it will significantly raise the price.
Being campers we already had the gear. Location is perfect for strolling down into Pooley Bridge, takes @5 mins.

If you decide to use the toilet/ shower block, these are the cleanest I have ever seen

Lovely A lovely touring site, clean and well presented. There is a mix of pods, tent and caravan pitches. Grass and hard standing. A nice and friendly welcome. The bathrooms are without a shadow of a doubt the best I’ve seen on a caravan site. Very modern and spacious, warm and clean. It’s a short walk to the village but it is on a hill. Some amazing walking without getting into the car.

Such a great relaxing long weekend at hillcroft Stayed in a cabin with my partner and It’s up There with the best I’ve stayed in The standards of finish, cleaning and layout was class ! Have a very friendly guy on site who shows you to your location ( we were out of hours for reception and he still did his best for us) Can’t wait to go back , it looks like the site is Great for Kids to play and explore aswell, so my daughter one day will be getting to come

Love this place Had a great weekend in August on this site. We were in a tent with electric hookup. We had atunning views of the surrounding fells and Ullswater. This site is well equipped and the facilities are always clean and plentiful. We’ll definitely we back
