Lovely hotel below castle at very reasonable price</b> Very easy to find, secure parking inside hotel grounds, interesting building (ex school), gym and fitness centre, very nice rooms and friendly helpful staff. The hotel is close to Castle and easy pedestrian access to centre of town.

A hotel with a history.</b> The Stirling Highlands Hotel is located perfectly in Old Town and near sights. The staff were sweet and rooms clean. I personally loved the history of the hotel…an old high school! My husband and I realized we didn't try out the Headmaster’s Study Bar. Something we regret.

Nice visit in an historic hotel close to Stirling Castle.</b> The Stirling Highland Hotel was a lovely, old world-looking, stone hotel. Had the look of a castle; very attractive visually. It was right on the street direct to Stirling Caste. Though a short, 10 minute walk, the first half of the walk was up a very steep hill (you can't walk to the castle from anywhere with going up this hill, so the closeness of the hotel was a plus).

Adorable & Scenic Stirling.</b> Lovely hotel in an 1800 school building! Such a pretty little city! The room was spacious and comfortable with a pretty view out over the city area. The hotel was quiet & everyone we meet was friendly... We ate dinner in the restaurant and it was delicious! The bar was cute with a lovely little library room to sit & relax in.
