Pleasant Upon reading a few negative reviews I thought I would use this opportunity to write a fair review of the Orchid. We stayed as a family of 3 on 10th May. Hotel Pro's: Super clean Central location (10 min walk to town and beach) Comfy beds our family room was small but very clean Really helpful staff (the chap on reception and later in the bar was excellent) Fabulous breakfast (very clean full English with excellent produce- sausages, mushrooms and bacon were fantastic, great continental options too) all serves in the lovely modern dining room Cons: As we paid through Trivago we had to pay £15 for parking which seems a bit steep considering we had already paid £160+ for a night stay with breakfast. Rooms need a bit of updating (little things like the plug holes in the bathroom needed new fittings/ strange stain on carpet) but nothing that spoilt our break.

Best stay I’ve had in a hotel for years! Absolute first class ! The staff were incredible. Rose the manager was an angel, ensuring our stay was a comfortable as possible! The room was immaculate, bathroom spotless! The bed was so comfortable, giving us the best sleep. The breakfast was delicious, a selection of continental and cooked! The bacon and sausages were the best I’ve eaten in a long time. I can’t find one fault with the hotel or staff and would definitely recommend a stay if coming to Bournemouth!

Best hotel ever in Bournemouth… One of the best hotels we have stayed in as a family, we had a great time with the kids, the breakfast was very sufficient with both hot and cold options, there are healthy or full English options if you want. The staff is very professional, Chrysoula was very helpful from the beginning to the end. We met the General Manager Rose in the evening, she was very hospitable. We left very happy as a family, we will definitely come back again.
