Wonderful food-superb hosts We consider this visit the GREAT find of our trip to England this year. The hotel is charming, the food was delicious and the service was OUTSTANDING! We were booked for a three night stay, but had to depart for a medical emergency and the staff went out of their way to be of assistance. The owner drove us to a local clinic in his own vehicle right away and made arrangements for me to be picked up later when I learned my husband would be going to a hospital in another city for tests.

Good for a stop in the region Very good for a stage in the area. We had a large family room with a double bed and 2 single beds under the roofs. Clean room, decent bathroom. Tea/coffee and cupcakes offered. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, the dishes are typical and good. Full breakfast à la carte and self service. Very friendly staff. Small parking, there were no more spaces when we arrived and it is difficult to park in the city.

Lovely stay Booked a four poster room for 3 nights with our small dog.Room was great with its own seating area bar was well stocked and the food was very good..Staff were very efficient and friendly. Our only problem was where you have to sit for breakfast with our dog it is dark and uninviting but this did not spoil our stay and would definitely return
